Astana: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan received at Akorda Presidential Palace in the capital, Astana today HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs.
At the outset of the meeting, the President welcomed HH Sayyid Theyazin and his accompanying delegation as distinguished guests of Kazakhstan.
For his part, HH Sayyid Theyazin expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the President for the warm welcome and hospitality.
He conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the President of Kazakhstan, along with His Majesty's best wishes of success to President Tokayev in leading the Kazakh people and realizing their aspirations for further progress and prosperity.
In turn, the President asked HH Sayyid Theyazin to convey his greetings and sincere wishes to His Majesty the Sultan, wishing Him good health and well-being, and the Omani people further development and prosperity.
The two sides exchanged discussions on a number of matters of mutual interest. They also reviewed the good relations that bind the two countries.
